A receipt book is a bound or perforated pad of pre-printed receipts used to provide proof of a transaction between a seller and a customer. Each receipt in the book typically includes details such as the date of the transaction, the name and contact information of the seller or business, a description of the goods or services purchased, the price, any taxes or fees, and the payment method. After a transaction is completed, the seller tears off a receipt from the book and gives it to the customer as a record of the purchase.
